Jamaica Pond Mission

Jamaica Pond is not being used enough to justify the price of maintenance. Yesterday, the city council declared that unless its popularity increases in the next week, they will sell it to U-Park, the city's largest parking lot contractor. The revenue raised from the sale will go directly to funding more traffic officers to deal with the increase in automobile traffic.

Instructions

In order to stop the transformation of Jamaica Pond into a city-wide parking lot, your team must complete both of the following tasks before time runs out:

1. Assemble 10 players from your team at the pond for a picnic. Enjoy picnic. Submit photographs of the festivities with each of the ten players clearly visible.
2. Demonstrate your knowledge of the pond's ecosystem. Submit at least two interesting details about the local fauna, wildlife or history.

Use the "complete mission" button to the right to upload your evidence. The more evidence you provide, the more points you get, so encourage everyone on your team to participate.

Consequences

If the two tasks are not completed in time, the pond will be replaced by "the largest parking lot in Boston." Now that would be quite an accomplishment.
